Regulatory Site Assessments

Initial Site Investigation

A general site overview tailored to regulatory and/or client specifications through consultaion, historical background checks, and possible testing.

Brownfields Site Assessments

A Brownfields property is defined by the EPA as a "parcel of land in which expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of the property may be encumbered by actual or perceived contamination". The Brownfields program is an opportunity to improve the environment and may facilitate job growth, increasing local tax bases, and relieving the pressures of development on undeveloped land. The Brownfields program has been used with great success in the redevelopment of public and private land in all parts of the country. ASC has experience in conducting assessments and remediation required for Brownfields by Chapter 62-785, FAC. If you are curious to learn more, or think that the Brownfields program might be right for you, then please feel free to contact us.

Soil and Groundwater Sampling

The purpose of sampling soil and ground water is to determine the extent and levels of contaminants at the site and whether or not the levels represent human health risks that require further action. ASC also has deep sampling capabilities.

Contaminant Delineation / LNAPL / DNAPL

Associated Sciences experts use a variety of techniques to determine the conditon of the contaminated soil and ground water. ASC uses computer-modeling techniques to determine the extent of the contaminant plume, source areas, and migration pathways.

Aquifer Testing

Associated Sciences can test aquifer parameters. We then interpret the results by means of a mathematical analysis and computer aided analytical models.
